Nomad's Land Series 1
Does the advent of motorised transport and the tightening of countries boundaries mean the end for the world's previously numerous nomadic tribes? Christophe Cousin sets out to travel with some of the remaining nomadic people to see if the wandering spirit is still alive. Yakutia is the largest republic in the Russian Federation, as well as the coldest inhabited place on earth and Christophe struggles to just survive in the sub-zero temperatures let alone travel. America is not somewhere associated with the nomad but Christophe finds that the wide open spaces of the Great Plains encourage those who love to roam far and wide. After visits to The Amazon, Niger and the Himalayas, Christophe considers if there will ever be an end to the long road the nomads are on.
