The Skinny Dip

1  Yukon

A skinny dip in Whitehorse, Yukon? Why not? A frozen landscape in the dead of winter doesn't stop Eve Kelly from searching out a swimming hole. With the help of true outdoorsman Guillaume Gravel and thirty of his thirsty dog-sledding Huskies, Eve sets out to lead her band of brave skinny dippers on the dip of their lifetime. But even the Huskies must think the group crazy when they venture towards a polar skinny dip in the heart of a blistering Yukon snowstorm.

2  The Bahamas

The Bahamas may be better known for beaches, casinos, and the piña colada than adventure, but Eve Kelly loves a challenge. She also knows that The Bahamas is one of the best locations in the world for the discovery of blue holes. Eve has to convince a band of brave skinny dippers to make their way to Long Island. Then they must travel through the vast, eerie, and deserted salt flats, along a beautiful beach, and through Long Island's bat-infested cave systems to reach the deepest blue hole in the world.

3  Costa Rica

Eve Kelly heads to Costa Rica, where she meets Gino Tubito, part-time surf instructor and full-time ladies man. He knows a fantastic, recently-discovered swimming hole deep in the jungle. The trek turns out to be the most daunting Eve ever encountered. The horse ride into the jungle is simple enough, but many dangers lurk: snakes, death-defying climbs along hazardous cliffs, and the fact that Eve and her team of skinny dip seekers have to navigate a 200 foot waterfall to reach the swimming hole below.

4  Australia

Deep in the Outback, Eve Kelly and company brave the searing Australian heat and ride camelback through a dried-up riverbed without any sign of cool, refreshing water. Her hot and exhausted team lose hope of ever finding a swimming hole, and the camels reach a point where they can go no further. That's just the beginning. Low on water, food, and energy, Eve and her would-be skinny dippers must decide to abandon their quest or trek on by foot through the desert wasteland.

5  British Columbia

Eve Kelly decides to spend a little time above the water before dipping in. She enlists expert kayaker Jamie Boulding to point her in the direction of a swimming hole and train her team to make their way across the majestic lakes around Campbell River. Jamie knows lots of swimming holes, but Eve won't settle for a run-of-the-mill one. So they must paddle across the Lower Campbell Lake, portage their kayaks over a dried up river bed, and traverse some wild and crazy rapids to get to Buttle Lake: home of the awe-inspiring Myra Falls.

6  New Zealand

Eve kelly heads down south to Rotorua, New Zealand where she meets Maori guide Tupani Hill, who reveals a long and challenging journey to a wondrous swimming hole known to the Maori as "The Hidden Place." All that stands in Eve's way is a long stretch of rough, off-road terrain, a dense forest, and an open-air volcano where scalding thermal lakes await. On top of all that, she and her crew have to minimize their food and gear to squeeze sideways through a gorge and follow the path of a hot stream.

7  Corner Brook

Eve Kelly decides to stick it out in her home province of Newfoundland and Labrador and heads west along the winter highways from St. John's to Corner Brook. Her mission? To head deep into the heart of the Humber River Valley and seek out Steady Brook Falls, where a swimming hole surrounded by a majestic winter wonderland awaits. But first she has to round up a skinny dipping team from the initially reluctant locals and prepare for a mountain trek. Fingers get numb, ankles get sprained, and the daylight disappears at an alarming rate. But Eve's goal, like Steady Brook Falls, is crystal clear and they all push on.

8  Brazil

What do deadly poisonous spiders, Italian designer boots, and the Portuguese language all have in common? They all stand in Eve Kelly's way as she heads out on a bicycle from the crowded streets of Sao Paulo and half-way to Rio de Janeiro to seek out a swimming hole 1000 metres up in the mountains of tropical paradise Ubatuba. But with the help of some friendly locals and a team keen on a skinny dip, Eve makes her way through the heat and humidity of the treacherous Brazilian jungle in search of a relished and refreshing reward.
